Protection
Fire protection is often required under building and fire regulations.
For example, mezzanine floors used for production, offices and sales areas will automatically require the underside of the structure fire be rated for '1-hour protection'. This is easily achieved by installing a suspended ceiling using fire rated tiles and grid.
We find that there is no true 'one-size' solution when it comes to fire safety. But with our understanding of current regulations, we are able to advise a client, often at the initial enquiry stage, of what is required. From partitions to pre-formed column cladding, we'll ensure your building is protected.
Benching
5th Dimension Floors has developed its own style of ‘speedbench’ system, which is a range of production benching for assembly work that is strong, robust and practical. We have a standard range of sizes, and can also supply bespoke units to suit your needs.
Each unit is manufactured from welded ERW steel frames with rolled ‘C’ section span rails. They can be supplied with a range of worktops, from basic block board to a 30mm thick laminated chipboard. Units can be further customised with storage bins, overhead lighting and more besides. Contact our team to discuss your requirements.
Pallet racking. Safety is paramount when dealing with heavy and large loads, so wall and row ties are provided for added stability. Pallet stops can be provided to ensure safe location of your goods. Frames are ground fixed. Column guards can be provided at the ends of the runs to protect the frames.
Long-span shelving. As with pallet racking there are a wide range of widths, depths and heights available. For the goods you are storing we can supply shelf decking of steel panels or chipboard. Long-span shelving can sometimes be used as an alternative to a mezzanine floor by using the shelving as support for joists and decking.
Hand loaded small parts storage shelving. There are many different manufacturers of shelving, all offering their own solutions to your storage problems. However we have access to a wide range of equipment to suit your needs.
